How we got here

The overhead distribution industry is complex, complicated, constantly in tension. Different priorities and adversarial relationships put all parties in conflict with each other. But we don’t think that reliable utilities and a robust electrical grid are mutually exclusive.

Katapult Engineering started back in 1991 in Dillsburg, PA as an OSP design group. As the industry has grown to meet the demands of broadband deployment, we’ve continued to wrestle with new challenges and find innovative ways to address problems. Over the years we’ve partnered with local utilities and attachers providing essential services to south central Pennsylvania.

Now, we create solutions based on the work we do every day, using the lessons we’ve learned to help teams across the country bring services to other communities.
